Product Description
COATING-PU160 is one component self lelveling polyurethane based coating that cures by reaction
with atmospheric moisture to form a seamless but flexible waterproofing membrane.

Typical Applications:
1, Waterproofing and dampproofing for horizontal surface of basement, kitchen, bathroom,
underground tunnel, deep wells structure and normal home decoration

Directions for Use:
1, Tools preparation: clean tools including saw toothed plastic scraper, brush ,plastic drum, 30kg
electronic scale,rubber gloves and shovel knife.
2, Application environment requirement: sealant should be installed in the cleaning condition at 5
~ 35°C relative humidity 35~85%RH.
3, Cleaning substrates surface:substrate should be solid without loose materials; dry without
construction on the wet substrates; clean without dust ,oil,asphalt,tar,paint,wax,rust,Non-
Permeable agent,curing agent,release agent and film etc. It should be cleaned by wiping
out,cutting,polishing,sweeping,washing, scrubbing and blowing.
4, If large cracks on the substrate surface,the cracks should be filled by sealant ,and filled surface
should be scraped as the same level as coating. After surface curing depth reach up to more than
3mm, the coating can be appiled on the joints.
5, The first coating application: first ,brush the wall corner and pipe joints partly ,then using saw
toothed plastic scraper to knife-coating in large area. It should require homogeneous without too
thick, the thickness of layer should be 0.5mm in general(If too thick, coating layer is easy to
emerge bubbles ).
6, The second coating application: after the fully curing of the first coating layer (about 12 hours),
then knife-coating homogeneously at the second time. The good thickness of the second coating is
0.7mm.The direction of knife-coating should be vertical with the first direction of knife-coating.
Please refer to the first coating application in details.
7, The third coating application: after the fully curing of the second coating layer,then knifecoating
homogeneously at the third time.The direction of knife-coating should be vertical with the
second direction of knife-coating. Special instruction: the the times of knife-coating should be
confirmed based on thickness design of coating, the total coating thickness is 2.0-2.2mm.
8, Protective layer construction: if needed, protective layer can be applied on the surface of
coating layer.
9, Cleaning tools: dip the tools in methylbenzene or dimethylbenzene(prohibit it strictly to dip in
ethyl alcohol solvent), the tools can be used after cleaning the solvent. If long time not be used , it
should bewashed by alcohol or other organic solvent. The cured sealant should be scraped and
teared off.

Storage notice:
Product need to seal and store in low temperature and dry place. Suggest the storage condition is
at 5~25°C temperature and less than 50%RH humidity. The product is forbidden to store in the
condition of temperature higher than 30°C and humidity higher than 80% RH

Usage ,Packing and transportation:

Usage:Coating thickness is 1.00mm, 1.3kg per square meter

Packing: 5kg/ metal bucket, 20kg/metal bucket

Transportation: protect the products from stamp,rain,high temperature and heat souce;carefully
and slightly move and forbid the products to be squeezed and crashed

Attention of operation
1, Forbid the alcohol mixing in the product, otherwise, the coat film will lose efficacy completely;
All tools can not be used until alcohol is cleaned off ;
2, Film coat thickness is about 2mm, special part should be more than 2 mm;
3, When apply film coat, the coating layer's drainage system should be smooth to ensure no
ponding on it during construction;
4, Film coat should be avoid ponding,pollution and clashing before fully curing. Please don't have
operate on the coat film before it is fully cured (about 24 hours);
5, The organic solvent used for making primer and cleaning the tools,and tiny solvent contained in
the film coat, all of these are inflammable and explosive goods, the construction environment
should be in good ventilation.
6, Write down construction record truthfully befoe application; for the special project, please
strictly operate according to DIMACOLOR supplied application technology
7, The rest of unused product should be keep in sealed storage. It can be applied normally after
cutting off the cured part of coating next time.
8, Keep it away from eyes and skin. If touch with skin, wash immediately with plenty of alcohol and
soap. In case of accident or if you feel uncomfortable, please see doctor for medical advice
